Life time member and Past President of The Royal Canadian Legion Br.
#290 At the Orangeville Hospital with his loving family at his side
on Friday, June 3, 2005. John Adams of Tobermory in his 83rd year.
Loving husband of the late Dorothy Adams (Booth) 1995. Deeply loved
by his son Tom Adams of Brampton, and daughters Mary (Wayne )Watson
of Erin and June (Lee) Grant of Scotland. John will be greatly missed
by his grandchildren Wanita (Stephen) Rhodes of Toronto, Tracey Adams
of Brampton, Jennifer Gauthier of Orangeville, Shane Adams of Brampton,
also Wendy ( Martyn) Smith, Yvonne (Steve) Wilson, Michelle Grant
and Julie (Brian) Orr. of Scotland. Dearly remembered by his great
grandchildren Jacob Gauthier, Mackenzie Rhodes, Amanda Digero, Michelle
Gauthier, Carter Rhodes, Sara Adams also Mathew, Joanne, and Craig
Wilson, Claire and Martin Smith, Owen and Karl Smith all of Scotland.
John is survived by brothers Ernie Adams of Sarnia and George (Betty)
Adams of Tobermory, and sisters Joyce (Bill) Ryan and Helen Johnston
both of Sarnia, predeceased by brothers Cleveland, Carmen, Gordon,
William, Jim and Gerald. John will also be missed by his many nieces,
nephews and family friends. Friends will be received at The Tobermory
United Church on Sunday, June 5th at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service
will be held in the Church with Rev. Susan Shantz officiating on Monday,
June 6th, 2005 at 11:00 am. Cremation to take place with interment
at a later date. Donations to Tobermory United Church or the Tobermory
Clinic or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch #290 will hold a memorial service at
the church on Sunday evening at 6:45 pm. Arrangements entrusted to
the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Condolences may be sent to the family
