Ashcroft Dona Isobel
'Has gone to be with the Lord' Peacefully at the St. Michael's Hospital,
Toronto on Saturday April 16, 2005. Dona Ashcroft of Wiarton and Toronto
in her 90th year. Loving daughter of the Late Lily Ann (MacKenzie)
and Morris Simpson Ashcroft. Predeceased by two sisters Isobel Anderson,
Jean McCutcheon and one brother Douglas Ashcroft. Survived by sisters-in-law
Juanita Ashcroft of Lion's Head and Marie McCutcheon of Owen Sound.
Beloved Mentor and special aunt of Lorne (Florence) Given; Margaret
and the Late Wayne Lancaster; Mora (Joseph) Leung; Dennis (Bonnie)
McCutcheon; Meredith McCutcheon and Keith Taylor; Darlene Ashcroft;
Morrie Ashcroft; Debbie (Nelson) Hellyer; Dona Ashcroft, Marydale
Ashcroft and Brenda Ashcroft. Also survived by many great and great
great nieces and nephews. At Dona's request cremation has taken place.
A memorial service to celebrate Dona's life will be conducted at the
St. Paul's Presbyterian Church 553 Gould Street, Wiarton on Saturday
April 23rd at 11:00am with Rev. David Leggatt officiating and at Deer
Park United Church 129 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto on Saturday
April 30th at 2:00pm with Rev. Marie Goodyear officiating. Interment
of cremated remains in the Ashcroft Family plot in Colpoy's Bay Cemetery,
Wiarton. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice
would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the
