Ruth (Knox) Austin of Lion's Head in her 89th year. Wife of the late
James Austin and the late Bruce Howell. Mother of Beth Martel of Lion's
Head and Laurie and her husband Mark Taylor of Lion's Head. Step mother
of Art and Linda Austin. Dear grandmother of Riley and Kylin Taylor,
Jason and Barb Brown, Brian and Becky Austin and Michael and Lisa
Austin. Great grandmother to Liam Brown and Maddison Austin. Sister
to Beulah Jones. Predeceased by one grandson Jamie Mercer and two
sisters Muriel McDonald and Velma Hendricks and two brothers Harold
Knox and Ray Knox. The family will receive friends at the Davidson
Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM
then to Christ Church Anglican, Main Street, Lion's Head where a funeral
service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bob Mansfield officiating.
Cremation to follow. Donations to the Charity of your choice would
