Barker H Ronald Ron
Suddenly at the Lion's Head Hospital on Saturday May 28th, 2005 with
his family at his side. Ron Barker of Tobermory in his 93rd year.
Dearest husband and loving companion of Isabel Elizabeth (Moore) Barker
for 68 years. Loved father of Joan Balinson (Morley) ; Anna Barker
(Harry Calderley); and one predeceased son Ronnie. Loved and respected
grandfather of Tamara (Eric) Meyer, Liana (Donald) Adam, Scott (Carmen)
Balinson, Sean (Angela) McDade, and Mark (Kellie) McDade. Chosen grandfather
of Linda Townson, Trudy Cuberovic, Ronald and Keith Colderley. Great
grampa (Papa) to sixteen great grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister
Gladys and three brothers Albert, Jack and George. Ron operated the
first soft ice cream truck in Hamilton. 'Ron's Freezer Fresh'. At
Ron's request cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains
will take place at a later date in Hamilton. Donations to the Tobermory
Clinic or the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated and may be
