BRERETON, Karen

of Wiarton passed away suddenly at Wellend General Hospital on Friday, May 22, 2009 in her 58th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Ron. Cherished mother of Jason and his wife Tina of Welland and grandmother of Brianna and Kayla. She will be sadly missed by sisters Bonnie West, Linda (Sam) Brown and Lori (Rick) Craig all of Wiarton, Susan (Paul) Butcher of Collingwood, June (Steven) Schultz of Bowmanville and Penny (Tony) Benjamin of Mississauga, father-in-law Herb Brereton of Toronto, brothers-in-law Glen (Debbie) Brereton of Ottawa and Herb Brereton of Toronto and sister-in-law Linda (Dave) Scott of Toronto as well as many nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her parents Nita (Bartley) and Syl West and brothers Ken and Edward.

Family and friends are invited to visitation at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Monday, May 25, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Karen's life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. A.J.V. Leeder officiating. Interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital or Wiarton & District Community Living would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
