COUTU, VICTOR

of Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound and formerly of Red Bay, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2006 in his 86th year. Survived by his loving wife Ellen (Barfoot) of Owen Sound, step children Sharon (Rudy) Bauer of Preston and Harold (Pat) Carson and Doug (Helen) Carson, both of Owen Sound. Also sadly missed by step grandchildren Kathy, Ryan, Mark, Sheryl, Delynne and Scott, as well as 6 step great grandchildren. Victor was predeceased by his parents Emma (Lawrence) and Charles Coutu, brothers Art and Rodger, sister Delia Rossgnol, and step grandson Brian Carson.

Victor was a veteran serving in the Canadian Army in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday November 15, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Legion service will be held at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass to celebrate Victor's life will be held at the St. Thomas Aquinos Roman Catholic Church on Thursday November 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Red Bay Cemetery.
