Eckenswiller Patricia Pat
The family announces with sorrow the death of Pat (Harber) Eckenswiller
of Mallory Beach, at the Wiarton Hospital on Friday September 23,
2005, in her 72nd year. Born in Midland on May 26, 1934, daughter
of James and Laurina Harber. Predeceased by her husband Burt in 1999;
and brother's-in-law Stan Deckert and Bill Sherrer. Sadly missed by
her sisters Marion Deckert of Linwood, Madeline (Rudy) Simon of Waterloo,
and Joan Sherrer of Linwood, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived
by a stepson Ken Eckenswiller and his family of Mitchell; and her
cherished cat Bud. Pat was a caring and compassionate person who will
be missed by her many friends and neighbours who were a great joy
and comfort to her. The family will receive friends at the George
Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to
1:00 PM. Thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Gould Street,
Wiarton for a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM. Cremation to follow. As expressions
of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the charity
