FRIES, Jean

of Wiarton passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2007 in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Anita (Kalvin) Stewart of Simcoe, Janet (Jack) Taylor of Toronto, Donna Beatty of Owen Sound, Richard (Dianne) Fries of Waterloo, Tim (Ruth Anne) Fries of Wiarton and Trudy (Paul) Hooper of Cambridge. She will be sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and sister Doreen Seguin of Wiarton. Jean was predeceased by her husband Wallace, son Dan, parents Nellie (Gilbert) and Clifford Winch and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There wll be a Unity Rebekah Lodge Service on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. There will be a Royal Canadian Legion Auxillary Service on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11:00 am. Ret. Major Charles Young officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Donations made to the Friends of Gateway or charity closest to your heart would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
