GILBERT, Jean Shirley

of Wiarton passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in her 82nd year. Cherished wife of Fred for 62 years. Beloved mother of Sheila (Reinhardt) Toellner of Seaforth, Gary (Sheila) and Dave of Wiarton. Special grandma of 8 and great grandmother of 10. She will be sadly missed by her brother Jim Chatterley of Michigan and sister-in-law Betty (Don) Waller of Brampton. Her faithful companion Boots will miss her dearly. Jean was predeceased by her parents, son Rick and daughter-in-law Nancy.

Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a Rebekah Lodge Service at 1:45 p.m. and a Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at Frank Street Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. George Bell officiating. Spring interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Canada, the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
