HACKETT, Gordon of Tobermory passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Wiarton Hospital in his 80th year. Cherished husband of Jeanne and dear father of Bonnie Drury of Orillia. He will be sadly missed by grandsons Darrin McIver of Newmarket, Ryan McIver of Barrie and Shaun (Jennifer) McIver of Toronto, great-grandchildren Jack James, Leah, Lorisa, Mallori and Matthew as well as brothers and sisters Glen (Marion) Hewton of Priceville, Jim (Pam) Bridges of Winnipeg, Donna (Ken) Brown of Ridgetown, Doreen Currie of London and Glenna Tiffin of Ridgetown. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Alberta (Glenn) and Caswell Hackett and one brother. The family will receive friends at the Light & Life Chapel, Tobermory
on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral
service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Clubine officiating. Interment
Dunk's Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL
HOME, Wiarton. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian
Cancer Society or CNIB would be appreciated by the family. Condolences
