Hepburn Douglas Orville
It is with deep sorrow that the Hepburn and Doubt families announce
the passing of Douglas (Doug) Orville Hepburn of Wiarton, age 79.
Loving and devoted husband of Grace (Doubt) Hepburn and the late Ruth
Hazen. Father to Janice (Randy) Williamson of Berford Lake; Larry
(Cecile) Hepburn of Kitchener; Cindy Walker of Toronto; devoted and
cherished stepfather of Jim (Vicki) Doubt and Laurie (Jill) Doubt
both of Wiarton. Proud grandfather of five grandchildren and one great
grandson. Brother of Elaine (Jerry) Rouse of Colpoy's Bay, Dorothy
Miller of Waterloo, Reg (Donna) Hepburn of Wiarton, Step brother-in-law
to Jack & Jeanne Macdonald of Owen Sound, Doug & Audrey Macdonald
of Red Bay, Dr. Gene & Helen Macdonald of Quebec, brother-in-law
of Ross & Hazel Ball of Brockville. Also survived by sister-in-law
Edna-Mae Hepburn of Wiarton, Evelyn Watson of Meaford and Verna Bellmore
of Pike Bay. Also survived by his walking companion & friend Joe
Hatt of Wiarton. Predeceased by brother Ross Hepburn (1996) and brothers-in-law
Harvey Bellmore (1998), Bill Watson (1999) and Gordon Watson (1958).
The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home 430 Mary
Street, Wiarton on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
In respect to Doug's former wishes there will be no service. Cremation
with interment on Saturday November 5th, 2005 at 11:00 AM in Colpoy's
Bay Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church or the Wiarton
Hospital would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family
