JONES, Eddie

of Cape Croker Indian Reserve, Wiarton passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 in his 72nd year. Loving husband of Audrey Johnston who predeceased him in 2007. He will be sadly missed by his brother Richard Jones (Verlyn Ackiwenzie) of Cape Croker and sisters Gina (Danny Roach) of Buffalo, N.Y. and Trudy (Bill Syrette) of Toronto as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends. Eddie was predeceased by his parents Rena (Pedoniquotte) and Alfred Jones, and brothers Freddie, Wayne and Ken.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories at the Maadookii Centre, Cape Croker on Monday, April 7, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Eddie's life will be held at the Centre on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tony Cheghano officiating. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the War Amps Foundation would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
