LONGE, Shirley of Tobermory passed away peacefully at Lions Head Hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in her 84th year. Cherished mother of Elgin of Hamilton, Kay Gibbons (Lance) of Tobermory and Valerie McKay (Brad) of Tobermory. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Leah, Melissa, Erin, Greg, Tara and Brenda. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Stewart, parents Ellen (Trethewy) and Alfred Carver, brother Jack Carver and sister Bernice Adams. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at
the Light & Life Pentecostal Chapel, Highway 6, Tobermory from
2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service
to celebrate Shirley's life on Friday, October 13, 2006 at Dunk's
Bay Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Clubine officiating. Arrangements
entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. As expressions of sympathy,
donations to the Tobermory Clinic or Lions Head Hospital would be
