McIver Margaret Verona Vera
Peacefully at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Monday
May 9th, 2005. Vera (Bridge) McIver of Lion's Head in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald McIver. Dear mother of Milt and his
wife Bonnie; Emmet and his wife Lynda; and Brian and his wife Karen
all of Lion's Head. Special grandmother of Darren, Ryan, Shaun, Reid,
Megan, Michelle, Terri, Trevor, Tyson and Tamara and great grandmother
of Leah, Jack, Mallory and Mathew. Sister of Norma Greig, Ann (Garfield)
Dunleavy, Veryl Priedt and Lois Bridge all of Lion's Head. Survived
by sister - in - law Janet Bridge of Lion's Head. Predeceased by two
grandsons Tracy and Darcy; two sisters Thelma Bridge and Estelle Grist,
one brother Ivor Bridge and brother in law of Allan Greig. The family
will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel on Friday evening from
7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel
on Saturday May 14th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Billy Strachan officiating.
Interment, Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head. Donations to the Lion's
Head Hospital or the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Condolences
