McLay Donald Charles Dan
Suddenly at the Wiarton Hospital on Tuesday January 10th, 2006. Dan
McLay of Wiarton and formerly of Linday Twp. Beloved husband of Susie
(Hellyer) McLay. Dear father of Linda Schafer of Calgary, Alberta;
and Larry and his wife Patricia of Lion's Head. Grampa Dan to Corey,
Heidi (Andy), Andrew, Sandra (Rick), Shawna (Ray), Lori, Christopher,
and great grampa of Ryan, Kylie, Jacob, Sydney, Ryan, and Jessica.
Brother of Christina McCutcheon and Kate (Ivan) Mielhausen all of
Lion's Head. Brother-in-law of George Hellyer of Lion's Head. Predeceased
by one sister Margretta (Peg) McCutcheon, and two brothers John Allen
(Lyle) and Malcolm. The family will receive friends at the Davidson
Chapel 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and
7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the Bethel
Missionary Church 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Friday January
13 at 2:00 PM with Dan's niece, Rev. Norma MacLeod officiating. Spring
interment Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head. Donations to the Wiarton
Hospital - Healthy Connections or the charity of your choice would
