NIXON, Winnie

of Owen Sound passed away peacefully at Summit Place Nursing Home on Monday, December 21, 2009 in her 93rd year. Cherished sister of Norman and his wife Bernice Nixon of Lion's Head and sister-in-law of Ila Nixon of Wiarton and Dorris Nixon of Guelph. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Winnie was predeceased by her parents Ethel (Rae) and Robert Nixon, brothers Perc, Jack, Morgan, Mansil, Floyd and Ted and sisters Erma Waugh, Wilda Nixon and Christie Morrow.

Visitation will be held at the BETHEL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Saturday January 2, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service to celebrate Winnie's life at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
