PORTER, Frances

formerly of Wiarton passed away with family by her side at Maple View Long Term Care Residence in Owen Sound on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in her 91st year. Cherished mother of Darlyn and her husband Ed Gaviller of RR 2, Kemble and Dale and his wife Marguerite Porter of Mississauga. Special grandmother to Louise, Scott and Ronald and great grandmother to Christopher and Dylan. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Eber Burley and his wife Marian of Stokes Bay and Wib Burley of Buffalo. Frances was predeceased by her parents, brother Hugh and sisters Abby Gedde and Lena Morin.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Mr. A.J.V. Leeder officiating. Spring interment Stokes Bay Cemetery. Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
