ROBBINS, Gerald 'Joe'

of Stokes Bay passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Marsha and cherished father of Shelly (Brent) Baker of Stokes Bay, Christeena Robbins (James Brooking) of Mount Forest and Bill Robbins (Erin Holme) of Stokes Bay. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Brendan, Emma, Ryan and Connor, his brothers and sisters Calvin (Marie) Robbins of Miller Lake, Sharon (Bob) Thomas of Wingham, Molly Simon and Iris Thomas both of Walkerton, Ken (Betty) Robbins of Englehart, Wendy Bartley and Bruce Robbins both of Wiarton and Goldie Bain of Owen Sound, his father-in-law Russel Raney of Tobermory as well as brothers and sisters-in-law Delbert (JoAnn) Raney and Marlene (John) Gervasi both of Owen Sound and Wayne (Jill) Raney of Tobermory. Joe was predeceased by his parents Jean (McFarlane) and Calvin Robbins, his sister Patricia Rose and his mother-in-law Edith Raney.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Bethel Missionary Church, 7 Ferndale Road, Lions Head. The funeral service to celebrate Joe's life will be held at the Church on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
