of Arcadia, California passed away peacefully at the family cottage on Cranberry Island, Oliphant on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Carole (McMillan) Scoon of Arcadia, California and dear father of Kathryn (Al) Nichols of San Ramon, California, Craig (Becky) of Pasadena, California and Mark (Julie) of Altadena, California. He will be sadly missed by his sister Carolyn (Gene) Dew of Cleveland, Ohio, nine grandchildren as well as the many friends on Cranberry Island and Oliphant he made during his 45 summers in this area. Bob was predeceased by his parents Isabel (Brenan) and Robert Alexander Scoon, one brother and one sister. In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken
place. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Bob's life at
the Oliphant Campers Church on Tuesday, August 8th at 11:00 a.m. with
Rev. Ted Davey officiating. Arragements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL
HOME, Wiarton. As expressions of sympanthy, donations to the Oliphant
Campers Church would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may
