of Lion's Head, and formerly of St. Marys, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009 in his 93rd year. Cherished husband of Marjorie for 71 years. Beloved father of Bev and her husband Mel Matheson of Wiarton. Special grandfather of Tim (Kris) Matheson of Lion's Head and Jennifer (Wayne) Moodie of Ingersoll and great grandfather of Adam, Scott and Ryan Matheson and Rachel, Shannon and Shelby Moodie. Douglas was predeceased by his parents Lillian (Sinclair) and Thomas Gerald Spearin.

Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at St. Marys Cemetery on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
