Peacefully at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Wednesday
November 9, 2005. Ruth Strong of Lion's Head and formerly of Tara
in her 83rd year. Wife of the Late Carmon (Whitey) Strong (2001).
Sister of Grace Sinclair of Brooks, Alberta. Sister-in-law of Noreen
Lind of Tara, Muriel and Mel Proud of Owen Sound. Special friend of
Norma and Bruce Haskins of Owen Sound. Also survived by several nieces,
nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Myrtle and William
Holmes, sister-in-law Mary Strong, and brothers-in-law Donald Sinclair,
Hartford Strong and Max Lind. At Ruth's request, cremation has taken
place. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery,
Tara on Friday November 18th at 2:00 PM. Donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
