TAMBLING, Orval

of Lions Head, and formerly of Tara, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26th, 2006 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Isabel for 62 years. Cherished father of Gary (Marg) of Wiarton, Al (Verna) of Oro Station, Darlene (Brad) Christie of Courtice and Ivan (Cheryl) of Teeswater. He will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-granchildren, sisters Rosie (Bob) Egdson and Gladys (Bill) Martindale both of Southampton as well as many nieces and nephews. Orval was predeceased by his parents Irene (Harron) and William Tambling.

The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Monday, August 28, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the service to celebrate Orval's life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Henry Sikkema officiating. Interment Tara Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
