TAYLOR, Hazel

of Wiarton passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 5th in her 89th year. Cherished mother of Marilyn Thorn of Burlington, Judith (Bob) Hunter of Renfrew and Wayne (Nancy) Taylor of Barrie. Special grandmother of Jeff (April) Thorn, Greg (Lisa) Thorn, Christopher (Donna) Hunter, Michael (Diane) Hunter, Rebecca (Ken) Bye and Sarah Taylor and great grandmother of 13. She will be sadly missed by brother Bill (Arlene) Orvis of Waterloo, sisters-in-law Edna Orvis of Petrolia, Norma Orvis of Sudbury, Lil Taylor of Wiarton and brother-in-law Harv (Alice) Taylor of Wiarton. Hazel was predeceased by her husband Cameron, brothers Ellingworth (in infancy), Ross and Jack and sisters Jean, Mary and Velma.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Hazel's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Gord Cox officiating. Spring interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to the Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Association or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
