Thornton Carr Nee Byers Grace Luella
Peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton on Saturday February
26th, 2005. Grace Luella (Byers) Thornton of Wiarton in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Thornton (1992) and the late Allan
O. Carr (1974). Predeceased by her parents D.J. Byers and Janet Luella
Currie, step mother Hazel W. Parke, one brother David James Byers
and one step son Edwin (Ted) Carr. Survived by three nephews Craig(Diane),
Jim (Mickie), David (Lindsey) and one great niece Victoria. Also survived
by sister in laws Pat Byers, Florence Marshall and brother in law
Evan Steacy. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral
Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The
funeral service will be conducted from St. Paul's Presbyterian Church,
553 Gould Street, Wiarton on Wednesday March 2nd at 11:00 AM with
Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Spring interment, Bayview Cemetery,
Wiarton. Donations to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
