Thornton Gerald James Arthur Jerry
Peacefully at the Wiarton Hospital on Thursday March 24th, 2005. Jerry
Thornton of Oliphant in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Shirley
(Cullen) Thornton. Loving father of Laurie Mehew of Toronto. Special
grandpa of Jennifer, James, and Joseph. Brother of Reta Richardson
of Whitby, and uncle of Ron, Dave, Al, and Ray. At Jerry's request
cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Jerry's
life will be conducted from the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street,
Wiarton on Saturday March 26th, at 4:00 PM with Rev. Ed Laksmanis
officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Donations to
the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Condolences
