TIGERT, Bernadette

of Lions Head passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18th, 2006 in her 85th year. Beloved mother of Lynette and her husband Jim Taylor of Lions Head and dear grandmother of Jennifer (Willy) Weatherhead of Lions Head, Patricia Taylor of Waterloo and Glenna Miller of Owen Sound. Cherished great-grandmother of Cassidy, Dillon and Erin Weatherhead, Trichia and Bronson Taylor and Crystal Peters and great great-grandmother of Natalie Weatherhead. Bernadette is also survived by her brother Ken Rouse of Waterloo, sister-in-law Bonna Rouse of Owen Sound and sister-in-law Helen (Ross) Wright of Meaford. She was predeceased by her husband Seaman Tigert in 2000, brother Wayne Rouse, sister-in-law Grace Rouse and her parents Ernest and Ettie (West) Rouse.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21st from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Davidson Chapel, Lions Head. The funeral service to celebrate Bernadette's life will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lions Head, with Pastor Charles Gingrich officiating. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery. Donations to the Golden Dawn Nursing Home or Lions Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
