ZEHR, Marlene
Surrounded by her family and with great love and peace,
Marlene Mary Zehr died in her 76th year at the Sault Area Hospital
(SAH) on May 21st 2010. She is predeceased by lifelong partner Elwood
"Woody" Zehr and goes to join him now. Marlene's warmth
and love of life will be greatly missed by her three children Pat
(Kan Seto), Peter (Doreen), and Paul (Lori) and her sister Yvonne
Mazur. She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren Jason (Amy),
Derek, Brandon (Roxie), Andi, Jordan, and Karina and Matthew Seto
as well as great-grandchildren Haley, Tyson, and Elli.
Marlene is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
Marlene will be greatly missed by her wide circle of friends in Sault
Ste. Marie, Big Bay, and the New Hamburg area. She is predeceased
by parents George and Rose Pinnell, brothers-in-law Harry, Edward,
Harley & Horace and in-laws Peter and Maryann Zehr.
The visitation for Marlene will held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton
on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The
funeral will be on Tuesday May 25th at 11am at the Kemble United Church.
Interment Chesley Cemetery. A memorial service in the Sault will follow
at St. Andrew's Church on Tuesday June 1st at 11am officiated by Janet
Norman. The family would like to thank Janet Norman, Drs. Amalhal,
Robertson, Lee, Elder, Lowe, Norris, and Mohamedi for expert care
at SAH. We are grateful to the ICU staff at SAH and the CCU staff
at Toronto General. Donations in memory of Marlene can be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Condolences may be sent
