Obituary of Donna Faye Oke

Peacefully with family by her side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home Sunday evening August 30, 2015. Donna Oke (nee Atkin) of Pike Bay in her 85th year. Cherished wife of the late Neil Oke (pre 2007) for 56 years and loving mother of James (pre 1954). Loving Aunt to Warren Oke and his wife Karrie of Sarnia, Stuart Eedy and his wife Karen of Denfield and Donna Marie Shipp and her partner Brian of Fort Erie. Dear sister-in-law of Doreen Eedy and her husband Charlie of Denfield and Marjorie Atkin of Sarnia. Honourary Grandma to Leslie Oke and Lindsay McLaughlin (Aaron). Missed by her very close friends Helen McIntyre, Rick Nolk, Phyllis & Don Edgar, Linda & Ross White and Charlene & Dale Cornfield. Friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Lion's Head Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary will hold a service at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Heather Davies officiating. Interment Oil Spring Cemetery Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of remembrance to Pike Bay United Church would be appreciated.
